|Between 20-21 March, Autodesk hosted the Automotive Innovation Forum (AIF) at the Hilton Munich Airport Hotel, a flagship automotive event attracting over 500 attendees in automotive design and manufacturing across the globe.
This year’s Agenda included: Laurens Van Den Acker, Senior Vice President, Corporate Design of Groupe Renault opened the event with an outstanding and inspirational keynote about “Strategies and Vision of Future Mobility”. The presentation was followed by an innovative 2nd keynote about the “Future of Connected Car Services at Daimler” from Carina Sandbrink, Manager Digital Business Model & Use Cases and Tom Jetter, Benchmarketing and Conference Export.The innovation themes covered the area Studio of the Future, Smart Manufacturing of the Future and Marketing of the Future. Industry best practices were shared from BMW, Porsche, Tata Motor UK, Renault, Audi, Daimler, Jaguar Land Rover, Magna Steyr, Volvo Cars and many more. Our goal for AIF is not only to inform customers but also to support them to do more better and faster, share product vision and plans, and to generate excitement about what is coming in the future.At the new session stream called “Product Innovation” topics included: VR/AR in conceptual design, Alias and VRED innovation and roadmap, as well as Shotgun for design studio, has been presented by the DCP-Group. Meanwhile, the BETA-Deep Dive Sessions showcased the Alias & VRED version of 2019.
Autodesk Design Studio of the Future booth new in 2018
